Copper is a highly reactive metal. While copper does not corrode it does tarnish easily. This can be a very beautiful finish where Astor can age the copper plated component in various shades, from light to dark and in varying styles (brushed, natural, burnished, ombre). Astor can then protect the surface with a gloss clearcoat to maintain the finish. Colours vary from rusty red to almost black.
