The original Art Deco finish, until the more difficult chrome plating was perfected. Polished Nickel is often seen on vintage cars, fixtures, furniture, cabinetry for Astor to restore. Highly reflective. A design favourite is Polished Nickel unlacquered, left to age naturally. We often see nickel used on trophies where reflectivity, shine are desired (and when silver is too expensive). Nickel is often mistaken for chrome however on closer  inspection, nickel has a soft yellow reflection where as chrome has a harder blue tone.

Nickel is often the basis for all decorative plated finishes, offering brightness & durability. Antares offers both of these characteristics. Originally the production of polished nickel gave the metal a more alluring appearance, with bright silver hues complementing any decor style.
