Astor’s Florentine Bronze is better than matt black. The aged copper is not quite black but far more interesting and beautiful with copper highlights. Once a traditional Victorian finish, this darkened copper with copper highlights is a striking finish with designers and architects. Allow it to pleasantly finish off joinery details, panels, feature strips and furniture frames to create luxe material combinations. Being tonally dark and aged in appearance it can appear to be almost black, which is then relieved at edges and corners, with detailing to highlight the copper. Often specified in modern projects with great success.
