Brushed Brass

A natural (unlacquered) brass finish with a fine satine brush polish. Of course, being left unlacquered the brass (solid or plated) will naturally dullen and tarnish which will generally mean a more golden colour of brass then continuing to patina naturally.

Brushed brass is often applied to stainless handrails for external use, public spaces & commercial buildings where the availability, strength and durability of stainless is required yet the aesthetics of brass, and its natural tarnishing & developing of a patina is sought after to increase the level of prestige of the building or project.
