Brushed Brass

A natural (lacquered) brass finish with a fine satine brush polish which tends to accentuate the pale lemon colour of brass. Of course, being left lacquered the brass (solid or plated) will naturally dullen and tarnish which will generally mean a more golden colour of brass.

Brushed brass is often applied to stainless handrails for external use, public spaces & commercial buildings where the availability, strength and durability of stainless is required yet the aesthetics of brass, and its natural tarnishing & developing of a patina is sought after to increase the level of prestige of the building or project.
